In the countryside of São Paulo, the project named Casa Silvestre became the summer residence for a family consisting of a couple and their two daughters. The team at Conrado Ceravalo's office chose to position the house at the front of the plot, aiming to capture the morning's natural light and create a welcoming atmosphere. At the same time, they blocked the intense afternoon sun.

The house was carefully designed to respect and integrate with the natural beauty of the site. From the outset, the intention was to preserve the existing topography. Thus, the residence was supported on the sloping terrain through three slabs: one for the roof and the other two anchored on the first and second slopes, housing the private area (one suite and one bedroom) and the social area of the house, respectively. The mezzanine also includes a TV room, which can be converted into a guest bedroom when necessary.

Situated on a privileged plot, the residence was designed to offer a complete immersive experience in nature, establishing a continuous connection between the interior and exterior, resembling an expansive and unified terrace. As such, the house is composed of glass panels that allow for views of the Atlantic Forest from every room, except for private spaces like bathrooms, powder rooms, and bedrooms.

With contemporary architecture across a 420-square-meter construction, the architects employed elements such as metalwork, window frames, walls, and cladding made of eco-friendly wooden slats, ensuring both aesthetics and comfort, as well as achieving optimal results in terms of thermal insulation and privacy. With a focus on sustainability, solar panels were installed on the house. Given the family's weekend use of the home, they benefit from an excellent cost-efficiency ratio.

The lighting design was developed by the office with the aim of highlighting the architecture and integrating it with the natural surroundings. The landscaping of the entire outdoor area is by Flávia Tiraboschi, who complements the forest backdrop with species that blend with the local nature, including a pergola that evokes the feeling of a secret garden, as well as an orchard.
