Magnólias Houses are terraced single-family homes located in Aldoar, Porto. This project is part of a set of five blocks of terraced houses, built in different phases.

This project explores the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces through fluid pathways that engage the senses. Along the way, elements such as walls, pavements, volumes, textures, colors, and lighting effects enhance the spatial experience. At the entrance of each home, a landscaped and paved area, combined with a play of overhangs and openings, reinforces the identity of each house while providing a more private and welcoming environment.

One of the main challenges was preserving the existing green space, including pre-existing trees such as magnolias. These were carefully integrated into the private gardens, ensuring harmony between the architecture and the surrounding nature.
