The central courtyard and inward looking houses have been a part of our culture for more than half a century. The climate and the privacy issues played a crucial role in the design of the traditional houses in the walled city since the colonial times. We at Noor Khan Design Studio tried to merge the modern architectural elements and the traditional courtyard to achieve this dynamic fluid design. The overall design is bulky and massive with a puncture in the center.
