Charles, Charlot, Charlie and Charlotte—all called Charles—is a ten-unit project located near the Riviève-Saint-Charles linear park in the Saint-Sauveur neighbourhood. It includes both large units on two levels and several crossing floors on the upper floors that open onto generous terraces at the rear. Charles expresses his individuality in a heterogeneous and disparate urban context.

The four volumes of masonry in contrasting colours, skillfully fragmented to reduce their impact on the street and sculpted with an advanced brick set, are interspersed by narrow recesses of light facing in which the vertical circulations and the carriage door slide.

The exterior architectural metal staircases, enhanced by planting trays and plant filters, distribute entrances to dwellings set back from the street to ensure the privacy of the occupants. On the façade, the regular rhythm and the proportions of the more traditional windows contrast with the contemporary composition of the play of fulls and voids evoked by materiality.
