The project is the social heart of the Wuzhong district a new dense urban area of Suzhou, China, a city of now 15 million people. The project is the antithesis of the “typical mall” as it establishes a pedestrian environment with the architectural variety, integration with nature, and pedestrian integration recalling the historic Chinese water towns found nearby.

City Green includes many unique design features including iconic 3- level bridge connecting two city blocks, dramatic views over Taihu Lake, an interior bird park and roof top park and indoor electric go-kart racetrack. It also includes something rarely found in China:  Above grade parking, that improves not only the customer experience in the garage, but also allows better views out over the water.
