New standards of togetherness

Completely without a property developer, but with maximum personalisation, a building group of 18 families was able to realise their own sustainable housing model. Project manager Fritz Oettl from cofabric advised the group on all aspects of the project. The costs saved in this way made the decisive added value possible. POS architekten contributed their many years of expertise in sustainable construction and were responsible for general planning and construction supervision.

Using, sharing and socialising together:
The heart of the building is the roof terrace with a meeting lounge, a launderette and areas for urban gardening. Gardening, barbecuing, sitting and celebrating go hand in hand every day.

The door to the Grätzl is the JAspern lounge, a four-metre-high, acoustically and climatically optimised multifunctional room that can accommodate up to 60 people. Both the building community and external guests use this popular meeting place for a wide range of activities and events. A ramp leads conveniently from the courtyard to the daylit communal workshop and the bicycle garage in the actively used basement.
