CoCafé is a precise configuration that identifies and brings to light the reality that is possible. Subtraction is the main action of the project. The colored plasterboard fragments design new unexpected figures, make the subtraction operation evident and measure the overlap time. In their new forms they become self-contained objects. The backward movement that discovers the past, thanks to small grafts of new materials, drives in the future, in new configurations, the materials found. The fragments, once isolated, become autonomous figures, not just remains, but claims of new identity: they acquire the value of objects, first invisible in the homogeneity of the surfaces, then discovered by the archaeological excavation. Subtraction and grafting generate a double movement moving forward simultaneously in time and space. The new figures, marked by the colors selected among the found plaster, condense the sense of domesticity and shifting sign to the 'unfinished' raw walls make us feel at home sparking an emotional and affective field. The COcaffe shows its contradictions without modesty: retaining the plaster stratifications found has no documentary value, it is not a sterile memory, but the past that opens to the future. A new condition that is being transformed into another, which we still do not know, is a form of recapture of the power of becoming.
