This project introduces a modern commercial building on Avenue P in Brooklyn, designed to accommodate offices and retail spaces within a clean, contemporary urban envelope. The façade reinterprets traditional brickwork through a refined, geometric composition anchored by large, linear window openings that bring natural light deep into the interior.
A defining feature of the design is the integration of stacked linear LED lighting elements directly into the brick façade. These horizontal light bands create a subtle nighttime identity, emphasizing the building’s modern character while adding rhythm and visual interest to the street.
The result is a contemporary commercial building that stands out through simplicity, proportion, and material clarity — a modern addition to the neighborhood that supports flexible commercial use and elevates the architectural language of the block.
