A well known restaurant chain in Ontario, the Copacabana Niagara Falls location serves unique Brazilian food and is extremely popular. As such they decided to completely renovate their existing space and increase seating capacity to meet growing demand in the busy tourist hub.

Working with the team at Raimondo Architects, OpenAire designed a telescope skylight where 2 sections of roof slide and stack under the largest fixed section. This project includes one double slope telescoping skylight measuring, overall, 21’-4” at the widest section, x 40’ long with two gable ends. This opens 2/3 of the space to the sky and creates a truly indoor outdoor patio space.
