Housing Corporation ‘de Alliantie’ wishes to redevelop the rust coloured building in the port of Almere, which is home to the film house and theatre ‘de Roestbak’. The building is ready for a profound renovation and no longer satisfies contemporary technical requirements. The complete building has the mission of ‘breathing out’ the cultural sphere which is already present in the theatre and exposition space. Theateradvies bv set up a spatial and technical program for theatre de Roestbak, in which not only the theatre requirements are stated but also the architectural and technical requirements for the building itself are described.
