The building is a telescope which points to lake Balaton. A telescope, because as we enter from the street we immediately recognize the water through the building, which becomes part of the facade. Simple geometric forms and thoughtful human-scale spaces meet. On the ground floor the facade opens to the lake with full glass surface, the border of inside and outside is blurred. The sight is for rest and relaxation.

The small and narrow site was the key challenge of the project. The house had to be compact with intimate spaces, to serve the peace of the family in the weekends, but the purpose was also to create a generous villa atmosphere as it is worth to the lakeside.

The used materials are high-quality products, the colours and surfaces are both natural, earth tones with modern cleanliness.
