Sailing the waters of the Amazon, Delfín III redefines the experience of river tourism in the region. Conceived as a high-end cruise with a capacity for 44 passengers, the project not only meets the highest standards of comfort and design but also establishes a deep dialogue with its natural and cultural surroundings. The vessel organizes its program across three decks and a rooftop, where each level balances functionality and experience. By placing technical and service areas at the stern, the design frees up the common areas and cabins to enjoy privileged views of the river, while the third deck and rooftop are conceived as lighter volumes, adding dynamism to the ship’s profile.

The interior design of Delfín III merges luxury with local craftsmanship. Anacaspi wood, carefully selected under sustainable forest management criteria, lines the spaces, adding a warm texture and a genuine connection to the region. Ceilings handwoven with natural fibers by local artisans integrate traditional techniques into a contemporary language. As an homage to the Amazonian worldview, the ornamental railings feature geometric patterns inspired by Shipibo art, evoking the spirituality of this ancestral culture. Every material and element has been carefully chosen to reinforce the cruise ship’s identity—not as an isolated object, but as part of the ecosystem and culture that surrounds it.

Delfín III stands out for its focus on efficiency and holistic design. Its structure and interior layout are developed in perfect harmony, ensuring fluid circulation and optimized space utilization. With this approach, the project not only sets a new standard for luxury navigation in the Amazon but also strengthens its relevance in the architectural field. Its quality and innovative vision were recognized with the CAPECO Architecture and City Award in the Hospitality category (2020), reaffirming its commitment to design, sustainability, and cultural integration.
