In the last few years the eyewear world has seen a deep evolution. The eyeglass from a correction and protection item has become a cult object. Many brands have developed the search for unusual forms, experimenting new materials, creating objects that can express the personality of the wearer.
The first need of our client was to get a space able to highlight every single piece on display and capable of expressing the great passion for this job.
Design Optical- Colli portuensi is a concept store and, like the other roman store, it is conceived as a flexible display space. The wall displays are like a musical score where the eyeglasses on a moving tablet can create movements and musics always new.
The design idea was to create a relaxing and covivial rest corner, where everyone can stop by. This is the reason why it was choosen the iconic form of the central counter, that evoke the tipical italian coffe break.
All the forniture have been custom designed and self-built. The use of natural finished wood and iron elements allowed to create a warm and confortable space.
