EDA’s intent was to bring light into a 2,000 s.f rectangular office space. By creating an unfolding wall, parts of the wall were exposed to allow light to enter into the dark work space. The intent was also to expose the use of everyday materials that are usually hidden, such as metal studs and cement board. Sandblasted plexi glass further exposed the rawness of the exposed materials and allowed light to enter the space. The use of custom made mobile furniture allows for different arrangements to be made in a restricted area.
