The new store concept for Divarese, a Beymen Group brand, was designed by Urbanjobs and realized at Akasya Mall, Istanbul.
The project approaches the retail environment as a spatial strategy rather than a conventional store layout. Its primary goal was to establish a controlled yet inviting atmosphere where the product remains at the center of attention, free from visual noise or distraction.
Urbanjobs redefined the store as a curated display landscape. Unlike typical retail layouts, the cash desk is deliberately kept out of sight from the entrance axis. This spatial decision allows the customer’s first interaction to be exclusively with the products themselves. Despite this visual concealment, operational visibility remains complete: the cashier has full control over the right and left zones of the plan, while the frontal axis is monitored via a live camera feed displayed on a screen directly in front of the counter. This strategy ensures seamless supervision without compromising the spatial clarity of the layout.
All storage and display elements were designed as parts of a unified system. Urbanjobs developed every piece specifically for this concept, achieving continuity between function, proportion, and material.
Light-toned oak surfaces and white-veined marble define the material palette, creating a soft contrast that enhances both the brightness and serenity of the space. Linear lighting and controlled reflections further emphasize the sense of openness, positioning the products as the true protagonists of the interior.
The new concept articulates Divarese’s contemporary line within a refined architectural language. Calm, structured, and intentionally restrained — this space was designed not to attract attention, but to remove all that distracts from it.
