Domus is an avant-garde house model based on the central courtyard as the organizing principle of the house, which spatially structures the rooms and the assembly of the prefabricated module system. The main design premise is based on a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional ways of living of our Western Mediterranean culture, in which the central courtyard acts as the main and articulating space of the house.
Beyond the benefits of thermal and light comfort that a central courtyard can offer, the intention of the design is to return to the roots of conceiving a courtyard as the place where the social life of the house takes place and is its structuring axis. It is the ideal house design for those seeking the essence of a traditional home interpreted in contemporary times.
