The client, owners of EA2121 private residence, briefed E Plus A Atelier to create a contemporary multi-functional living space with bespoke interiors and tailored furniture to suit pleasant family living in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. E Plus A Atelier has paid utmost attention to the home's functionality and ensured that it has a classic, timeless appeal in neutral colours with bold accents. The residence has floor-to-ceiling windows providing ample natural light, mood-enhancing decorative lights and contemporary chandeliers.
Concept
The residence highlights the flow between rooms. The marble flooring reflects the endless natural light, whilst the bamboo-inspired textured marble creates an impression of sophistication and movement throughout the space. The living room and dining room are different, but using the same materials and colour palettes, E Plus A Atelier has created a design that seamlessly transitions between the two spaces forming a sense of unity. E Plus A Atelier has used natural colours throughout, allowing for the compelling contrast of darker tones and playful artwork. The designers have minimalistically inserted bold shapes and colours into the overall design. The residence has a contemporary appeal and a harmonious atmosphere.

The walls throughout the residence appear to be panelled, giving a sense of depth and distinguished appeal, contrasting the contemporary spherical furniture and hand-blown glass artwork that adorns the walls.
About the execution
E Plus A Atelier has carefully considered the family’s busy lifestyle to create a contemporary living space that is relaxing and with the comforts expected of a lavish hotel setting. The neutral colour palette and natural materials are emphasised with subtle highlights of deep blue and gold, playful artwork and suspended modern chandeliers.
About the ambience
The chic space has soothing colours throughout the residence, allowing for a sense of calm for the occupants with a blend of floor-to-ceiling windows, restful décor and playful nature-inspired highlights such as the glass artwork in the living room.

The client instructed E Plus A Atelier to blend three rooms with different functions with unique colour codes with a sense of connection.
