round, fluid forms mixed with high-quality materials and a restrained colour palette create an inviting atmosphere whilst clearly expressing competence and trust at the same time. the design of the ‘showroom’ and the office spaces for the EB GROUP respects all the needs and functional assets of an open customer service centre and creates a pleasant working environment. the idea behind the design concept for the headquarters location of the international real estate company EB GROUP was to create one space that would serve as the home for various areas of competence: offices for the day-to-day business; customer consultation spaces; representative conference rooms for meetings with investors and business partners; as wel l as accommodation possibilities for business guests from abroad. the impressive inventory building from the 30s gave the best possible location for an elegant yet inviting interior design that begins in the ground floor and continues in the first, third and fourth floor. the entire ground floor is reserved for the showroom – the first contact point for customers and a space for consultation of various sorts.
it was important to make this place as representative as possible yet inviting at the same time. the selection of materials such as slate or smoked oak, in combination with elegant shapes and a subtle colour palette could do justice to these demands. the showroom is spacious and deliberately structured in a way as to offer sufficient space for by-passing clients as well as opportunities for discreet consultation or even small internal meetings. alongside the showroom plajer & franz studio created also two floors of generous office spaces and an apartment floor giving accommodation opportunities for international guests. here the overall design language continues: a simple yet functional interior design of the offices is dominated by rectangular shapes, high quality materials and a reserved colour palette.
