11 RIVINGTON is a boutique art gallery in the adventurous Lower East Side of Manhattan. We designed this renovation to serve as a quiet counterpoint to the energy of the art featured—simply opening to the street level storefront. The back of house spaces are articulated as a contrast to the gallery space: functional and clean with the existing brick structure exposed and simple exposed plywood counter and millwork.
