Michele Perlini presents “Equilibria,” an installation created in collaboration with EuroDesign and the new brand KIHOM. A unique and playful work that, through a subtle gesture, opens a space for reflection.

Entirely crafted from certified fir wood, the piece stands as a concrete action of respect for nature—a theme that continues to inspire Architect Perlini’s design research year after year.

The Concept: A Game of Balance
The installation draws inspiration from the classic game of Mikado (shanghai). Among the wooden sticks, a single red one stands out; leaning against a mirrored cylinder, it becomes the visual and symbolic fulcrum of the work—the exact point of balance.

This delicate yet powerful mark reflects a deeper quest: inner balance. Fragile and precious, it is a state that each of us, consciously or not, is constantly striving to achieve.

The Mirror Element
In this project, the mirrored cylinder is more than just physical support; it is a conceptual element. It reflects the red stick, amplifying its meaning, and captures the image of the observer, directly engaging the viewer in a continuous dialogue with the artwork.

A Silent Invitation
In Equilibria, balance is not imposed. It emerges from the relationship between:
