This residential project, located in the Estância da Cachoeira condominium in Brumadinho, features a house strategically positioned diagonally on the lot, following the natural contour lines to adapt to the irregular terrain and minimize earthworks. The main façade plays with planes: the ground floor aligns with the front property boundary, while the upper floor is oriented perpendicular to the diagonal of the plot layout.

The ground floor provides separate pedestrian and vehicle entrances side by side, divided by a wall, both converging into a spacious open-plan area that integrates the kitchen, dining, and living rooms. The sense of openness is amplified by a double-height ceiling and a large glass wall connecting the interior with the outdoor leisure area. Adjacent to the kitchen, the ground floor extension houses a pantry, powder room, and sauna—all easily accessible from the leisure space. At the rear, a staircase leads to the upper floor, which also includes a guest suite.

The leisure area begins with a generous transitional space between indoors and outdoors, covered by a pergola and shaded by the overhang of the upper suites. This area includes a gourmet kitchen and an outdoor dining table. Beyond this, the pool deck unfolds as a large rectangular space with two distinct floor treatments and, centrally, the swimming pool. Echoing the façade’s geometric play of planes and angles, the pool takes on a striking diamond shape.

The second floor is dedicated exclusively to three suites: two smaller bedrooms at the back and a larger master suite closer to the entrance. The master suite stands out with a significantly larger area and a private terrace, which utilizes the ground floor’s forward extension along the main façade. Circulation between rooms occurs via a suspended corridor mezzanine, offering expansive views over the living spaces below.
