This project is part of a big real estate district, mostly directional and commercial, called Europarco, located in the E.U.R District, part of the New Urban Plan of Rome: Programme of Interventions named "Eur-Castellaccio".
Due to its location, between E.U.R. and the G.R.A., the intervention area plays an essential role in the functional and formal redefinition of the entire urban sector in which is located, becoming part of an active network of evolved directional complexes that represent the distinctive feature of contemporary Rome.

The architectural design developed a careful analysis of the different parts of the building, at different levels, so that they could respond, in unity and organicity of the general layout, to the different operational functions attributed to the identified spaces.
The twenty-seven floors tower is defined by a central membrane with lift blocks and services, and by a crown of rooms designed outwards by means of a technological envelope where the most advanced bioclimatic research has been expressed for the best users’ management and comfort, who, in any case, can enjoy one of the most panoramic views in town, starting with the seafront skyline and continuing with the mountains area of the region.

The result is a light, technologically evolved architecture that concludes the large sphere created by the new building complex, without creating a fracture in a whole that must be organically linked with the other components - residential, directional and commercial - of the urban area, which has been conceived and designed with respect for the territorial characteristics and in continuity with the Roman tradition of modern architecture.

Material Used:
1. Façade: Focchi S.p.A.
Sunshade elements made of vertical aluminium extrusions; depth fixed in 75 cm from the external glass.
Prefabricated workshop cells: extruded aluminium profiles whose infill consists of Interpane Ipasol 61/33 glass structurally bonded to the cell frame made of extruded aluminium profiles alloy 6063 T5/T60 profiles; for the opaque cells the infill consists of an insulating panel whose external part is characterised by the presence of ornate profiles. The cells have standard dimensions of 1600 x 3210 mm.
The cells are self-supporting assemblies, anchored to the building structure by means of brackets in galvanised steel, connected by means of Halfen irons pre-inserted on the edge beams of the building.
The overall performance of the façades is high in terms of thermal with a conductivity of 1.4 W/m2K and from an acoustic point of view with an Rw value of 43 dB.
2. Internal Partitions: Estel S.p.A.
