Stuttgart office Steimle architekten designed this house in a suburban area in Dresden.
The Front Box to the street is covered with vertical wooden laths and filters noise and glances and also provides a dispersion of direct sunlight. The minimal interior features an open living area connected to the "secret garden".
The ground floor takes the "public" functions, living and dining room form an open order and are grouped around the large south-facing terrace towards the park.
