This four-bedroom rental apartment renovation was commissioned by a contemporary art and furniture collector. The more-public areas are organized around the collection. Vinyl flooring in several colors was created with large white circles to “spotlight” particular pieces. The entrance is monochrome with a custom designedEn wallpaper. The Living room, dominated by a large Bourellec Brother “cabana” is red. The dining room is in yellow and lined with bookshelves. Each bedroom is a single bold color – carpet, walls and ceiling. Working with artist Elodie Blanchard, closet doors were replaced with curtains with unique motifs – from abstract in the master bedroom to floating animals for the children.
