These five townhouses form one facade of the entrance square of the Vathorst shopping centre. The architecture and urban space give the centre an inner-city quality here.

To prevent the city square from being dominated by the side of a large supermarket, these houses are built over the edge. Thus, the square got vibrancy with entrances and kitchens at the public space.
