Designed to explore the sense of openness within the space while creating an inviting and visually striking ambiance. Central to the project's development was the commitment to a design philosophy rooted in conceptual depth, expressive elements, and the removal of superfluous elements. This approach emphasized the abstraction of forms, the richness of space, the contrast of materials, and the meticulous attention to detail, all of which were seen as the sources of its artistic essence.

The 2400 sq. ft apartments compositional nature consists of the social area which includes the Living, Dining extending into a balcony, adjoining the dining are the secondary functions like the kitchen and utility while the private area consists of three bedrooms. The social area forms the central zone flanked by the master and kitchen on one side and guest and kids’ bedroom on the opposite side.

With its sharp lines, rich texture, wide volumes and the interplay of light and shadows within the space creates a captivating atmosphere whilst introducing a touch of drama. To enhance this poetic atmosphere, a carefully chosen palette of dark tones was employed, providing a backdrop that adds depth and character to the design. The selection of tactile materials was a deliberate choice to evoke a sense of serenity and comfort.

Walnut Veneer becomes the protagonist, wraps the living and dining providing order and form which is complemented by open and close metal racking and an integrated bar in shades of grey which runs alongside in a lateral path creating an envelope and strengthening the continuity between the spaces.

The living area features the distinctive Camaleonda sofa by B&B Italia, combined with custom chairs and coffee tables. The dining area showcases Frank chairs designed by Piero Lissoni, surrounding a custom veined marble table and a sideboard elevating the space to new heights. The bedrooms are thoughtfully crafted to create a holistic experience, highlighted with inviting warm hues, exudes a serene ambience, complemented by metal, leather upholstery and bespoke pieces.
Through its understated architectural details and the seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, Flat Muse strikes a harmonious balance between the comfort of privacy and the sophisticated expression of modern living, exuding refinement without veering into preciousness. It pays homage to the embodiment of grace, infused with a soulful sense of poetry and a celebration of the natural world.
