Forhteladies was since 2014 the only sneaker and apparel store in Spain dedicated exclusively to women. In 2019 they decided to move to a new space inside STRAP, which was the experienced men’s shop from same owners. 

Designing their new space inside the main mens shop was a challenge as the aim was to generate a completely different experience than the one in the adjacent area in store where the access was projected. All this needed to be done without forgetting its origins. 

The new store design concept was to create an arch-shaped skin to surround the space, which also generates the different exhibition elements for clothes and sneakers, at the same time it allows us to see through them and don’t forget the original space where the store was created. 

The new space have a marked and differentiated character on an aesthetic level, as it takes us to a boutique experience, despite being inside a sneakers and urban clothing store.

Pedestals and versatile display elements in different terrazzo finishes where also created expressly for the changing needs of product display of each collection. 

Likewise, the colors used on walls and floors make clear the differentiation of uses between both spaces, generating a fun experience to the customer during the visit to the store.
