The Grand Egyptian Museum is a world-leading, iconic, cultural institution overlooking the Pyramids of Giza. Developed in collaboration with Arup and Buro Happold, the design uses geometry, horizon and topography to establish a direct visual, spatial and mathematical relationship between the museum and the Pyramids.
Bridging the Nile Valley and the desert plateau, the project combines monumental exhibition spaces, conservation facilities and public gardens, positioning the landscape and the Pyramids as integral elements of the museum experience.
