A former office building, built 1951 - 1954 (partly protected as a historical monument) forms the setting for a hotel. The reconstruction gives a radically new perception of the building, but also imparted the desired generosity. Two of the three courtyard wings were taken down and rebuilt. The essentially total erosion and reconstruction of the inside left no stone on top of another. Today, the façade of the building in its new and old beauty is a further testimony to the vibrancy of the Ringstrasse in Vienna.
