Green Moon is a unique interior. An interior with nonchalance, full of black peace and green inspiration.
Our idea was to create an interior that has an impact like Nick Cave's music. It is beautiful and a bit dark at the same time. Full of poetry, yet firmly on the ground. The poetics of this space is manifested in a subtle play of black, strong lines with mocking shades of pale pink. In the tension between soft dark fabrics and a hard stone effect.
PRIORITIES.
In the functional layer, the priority was to defend the throw, which was dominated by unfavorable verticals located in even less favorable places.
In terms of aesthetics - the interior was supposed to be black. Or it was just supposed to be a villain :)
The common idea, both for us and for investors, was to create an interior that influences Nick Cave's music. It is beautiful and a bit dark at the same time.
BLACK INTERIOR?
The black lines go beyond their functionality in several places. Then they turn into extended traces of a brush, a pencil ... They are like a sketch in space, freed from a pragmatic function. "I am no longer a glazing frame. I am a sign in space" :)
Paradoxically, this interior is not too dark. The effect that we managed to achieve is that the interior seems to be full of black elements, and in fact there are proportionally less of them than the light ones. Thanks to this, we do not lose the clarity of this small space.
The glass bedroom effect is also worth noting. In fact, the bedroom walls are black. But they are limited to black frames only. The rest is translucent glass. Unless we cut off this room with curtains.
Then the bedroom turns into a cozy, dark boudoir. Phenomenally muted inside thanks to the fleshy fabric.
COLORS.
The combination of the blackness of the night with the pale moonlight and green aurora. This set of colors materializes the tile in the bathroom. The dull pink of window fabrics and furniture elements gives us a color counterpoint and radiates flesh-colored warmth.
DIFFICULT MOMENTS.
The biggest difficulty was the aforementioned initial throw. These types of systems are a challenge for us, because usually on the basis of a well-worked, problematic throw, a unique solution is created. And so it was also here. The kitchen benefited in particular - the shaft, which hindered the functional layout in this space, was used to create a unique layout with a small peninsula. It should be mentioned that the investors initially wanted to reduce the kitchen very much, assuming that they hardly used it anyway. The arrangement with the peninsula, however, inspires them to cook, which they are positively surprised.
We are most satisfied with the feedback from investors. They say that the interior works both functionally and provides an aesthetic experience that gives joy on a daily basis.
