Hal22 was in need of a practical solution for their padel courts. With a pipeline situated above the entrance and the emergency exit sign required to remain visible, the Compact sectional door proved to be the ideal choice. Discover more about this impressive project below.

A group of friends—among them an entrepreneur, an agent, two former professional footballers turned trainers, and an actor—decided to launch a sports venture together. They sought out a unique location where they could combine atmosphere, hospitality, and sports. Rolflex was proud to contribute to this project, as the five sports enthusiasts selected the Compact door for their new padel courts. The Compact sectional door is not only easy to conceal but also offers a wide range of design possibilities; an essential feature for a practical solution that still enhances the overall visual appeal.

More possibilities

The Compact sectional door features a unique folding system that provides advantages not found in standard sectional doors. For instance, a tennis cage could be placed directly behind the door since it doesn't require any overhead space. Additionally, the emergency exit sign remains fully visible, and a pipeline could be installed right above the door without issue. Beyond its practical benefits, the Compact door also offers extensive customization options in terms of design. Nearly every component can be color-matched, and there’s a choice between sandwich panels, full light panels, or full vision panels. Thanks to these flexible options, Hal22 achieved the clean, modern aesthetic they had envisioned.

Famous clients

As mentioned earlier, Hal22 was brought to life by a group of five friends, but these are not your average sports enthusiasts. Among the founders are renowned former professional football players and trainers Frank Rijkaard and Marco van Basten. Their agent Perry Overeem also joined the project, along with well-known Dutch actor Barry Atsma and their longtime friend and entrepreneur Edwin Oosterlaar. Rolflex is proud to have contributed to making Hal22 a reality with the installation of our Compact sectional door.
