The basic concept of the residential building is the typological structure of the Bregenzerwald homestead with its characteristic sequence of rooms. In the 'stable' there are now cars and bicycles, while the Schopf as the entrance area separates it from the living area. The house looks rather closed to the street, while on the garden side it opens completely towards the pasture landscape and Kanisfluh.
The roof terraces and the shop terrace in front of the living area on the ground floor offer outdoor spaces of different quality. Erected in wood element construction, the house is clad with a rough sawn spruce screen and adapts to the surrounding buildings with black eternit shingles. The outside space remains largely natural and merges calmly into the meadow landscape.
