Our commission was to envision a long, slender house with a steel frame, clad in dark materials. Expansive mirrored glass walls helped hide the home within its surrounds, while offering sweeping views of the surrounding foothills. The structure hovers above the mountain terrain, culminating in a cantilevered end which gives the occupants the sensation of floating above the landscape.
