Contextualization
In a residential context such as the Hudson Farm Neighborhood, the proposal questions the benefits and contradictions that come into play when deciding to live in this type of urbanization.
Setting
HDN is configured from a volumetric operation where the upper level is moved to generate galleries and propose a double height in the living room, based on a framework of beams and tensioners.
Its exterior configuration of plank concrete planes assumes the variability proposed by each interior condition. A systematic material experimentation is developed, which allows different gradients of luminosity, permeability and visibility to be interpreted.
At the same time, the proposal attempts to capture frames and landscapes with open perspectives typical of the context where it is inserted, and on the other hand, to accommodate interior spaces, as a refuge, with the projected material envelopes, preserving conditions of intimacy.
Provision
The project assumes certain degrees of indeterminacy allowing both spatial and temporal variability, in accordance with the domestic practices suggested by users.
