Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa

Resting along the beautiful Oregon coastline, the Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa practically dips its toes into the Pacific Ocean. Sited near the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, the seaboard structure is nestled into a steep hillside and features breathtaking views of the adjacent beach, Haystack Rock, and the Pacific Ocean.

When guests arrive, they are led up a meandering cedar walkway into a dramatic gabled entrance that continues through the lobby. The liberal use of wood and dark stone creates a warm lodge-like feeling. Cedar and steel beams frame views of the ocean and Haystack Rock.

The luxury hotel includes33 guest rooms, an intimate, ocean-view bar and restaurant, various serene, fire-lit nooks, and a luxurious day spa.

Cedar shingles on the building’s exterior weather silvery-gray, akin to the cool rocks, trees, and sand that are meant to endure in the harsh coastal climate. In contrast, the interior is warm and inviting, providing respite for guests to relax and recharge in preparation for their next adventure.
