Heróis de África house is located in the historic and classified area of Leça da Palmeira, a seaside town near Porto.
Our project embraces not only its restoration but also an extension of the existing building by means of a gable roofed volume extruded from the rear façade. This extension opens generously into the garden, creating a sense of flow and connection with the outdoor space.
The design prioritizes natural light and the creCation of diverse spaces within the home. Some areas offer intimacy and privacy, while others are expansive and oriented towards the outside. This variety reflects and supports the diverse needs and moods of the resident family.
