GOED (Dutch acronym for Health Under One Roof), located along the edge of the Zuiderpark (Southern Park), is part of a new centre with various social facilities in Apeldoorn. The building specifications are very extensive and include areas for dentists, psychotherapist, psycho-geriatric care, a gym, chemist's shop, child care, senior citizens' centre, assisted care residential units, and 36 apartments. The building is structured in U-shaped floor plans which are rotated somewhat per floor so that openings are created towards the park and the green inner square. The main building has an elegant brick façade with aluminium accents. The apartment block sits like a box made of glass atop the brick foundation. The glass is decorated with a silkscreen pattern of leaves as a reference to the adjacent park.
