The building constitutes a large L-shaped container, one wing housing the boats, the other the administration building, classrooms, dormitories and workshops, opening towards the interior of the container with the use of balconies and verandas.
The container is shaped by means of a large roof. Its laminated wooden structure evokes the inverted frame of a ship’s hull, and it’s covered with cooper panels. On the sea-facing side, the facade is resolved with a glass front which doesn’t reach the ground. It’s interior melts into the dockside and the exceptional views of Santander Bay.
