VMZINC standing seam is a metal cladding system formed from rolled zinc sheets, assembled into interlocking trays with raised seams to create a continuous, weather-tight envelope. Suitable for both façades and roofs, the system allows for a high degree of adaptability across different substrates and geometries, and can be specified in a range of pre-weathered and pigmented finishes, including the PIGMENTO® series.
From a sustainability perspective, VMZINC is supported by third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in accordance with EN 15804, providing life cycle assessment data on environmental impacts. Production is carried out under ISO 14001-certified environmental management systems, with additional ISO 9001 quality assurance. The material’s durability, often extending to several decades in service, and its high recyclability at end of life contribute to a long life cycle with reduced resource demand. VMZINC systems can also support broader building-level certifications, including LEED and BREEAM, depending on the overall project specification.
