We have already built various catering facilities for HMSHost at Schiphol Airport. We were pleased when they asked us to design and build their new office in the Skyport building at Schiphol! We started with an Architects-Café – the DZAP look & feel workshop – and it soon became clear that their new interior should breath “hospitality” which is after all their core business.
We have translated this into a light, open and flexible office interior. With sit / standing workstations and different areas where you can work, have lunch, meet or just have a cup of coffee. With the use of lots of plants, natural colors and materials we added elements of Biophillic Design into the interior. To emphasize their core business we introduced some of their hospitality concepts into the interior of several meeting rooms. One of them is easily recognized with two tigers on the wall based on their sushi and noodles concept ‘Two Tigers’.
