Perkins Eastman gave new life to a historic building and designed a modern tower to establish a new luxury boutique hotel on New York City’s iconic Fifth Avenue at West 28th Street. The team worked alongside the developers, operators, and PBDW Architects to study this opportunity and create a lifestyle destination. A former bank that was designed in the early 1900s by McKim, Mean & White offered the optimal base.   Omni Royal Orleans is a historic hotel and one of the French Quarter's most storied destinations, dating back to 1843 when it first opened its doors as a grand hotel with high energy ballrooms and sweeping interiors. Traditional Linpan settlements consist of a collection of buildings that form mismatched courtyards and in-between spaces, connected by greenery and bamboo trees.
