An early modernist house designed by Jos Ritzen (also the designer of the Park Den Brandt), it was completely disfigured over the decades. The house was completely restored to original appearance on the outside. The interior was brought in line with the spirit of the times but was also equipped with all contemporary comforts underneath. The architecture was inspired by that of Frank Lloyd Wright. This became clear after the restoration. Antwerp's 'Robie House' was reborn.
