The elegant contemporary modernity is the key to the refurbishment of the Hotel Portas do Sol, in the old town of Vila do Conde. With sober lines, the porcelain floor tiles combine the elegance of wood ofLiceoMokaand the classicism of Havana in green hues that pay tribute to the traditional hydraulic tiles, extremely popular in Portugal. As for the bathrooms, the walls of the basin area are covered with penny tiles of the Rock Art collection while in the WC area, color takes center stage thanks to the Peacock Green of Joy.

The architect Vito Vitorinohas delved into the classical style of the building by adapting it to the needs of a 21st century hotel. Thus, a modern style and small classical details perfectly coexist with the latest performance in resistance and durability. Roca’s proposals in floor and wall tiles play with elegant classical and contemporary formats, adapting to the soul of the building with their own personality.
