The architecture studio, Basselier Jarzaguet Architectes, renovated this hotel from the 1960s, turning the accommodation into a new, more accessible and safe hotel, with new interior and exterior spaces in keeping with current contemporary architecture.
The interior design project carried out by the DZ Architecture studio opted for warm materials and colors that create an atmosphere of calm on the inside. One of the most outstanding elements is a huge metal curtain made with copper Mies R mesh. As well as giving the lobby a unique finish, it also makes the new open breakfast room feel more private. The spiral metal mesh was made to measure in a stabilized “rust effect” finish.
