On the shores of Léman Lake, in an exceptional environment, this project was conceived as a response to its surroundings, a dialogue with the views to and from the lake, the existing vegetation, and the topography of the place. Built on stilts to respect the site as much as possible, the house overlooks the lake and the vegetation.
It is composed of two simple volumes, one dedicated to the occupants and the other to their visitors, united by their roofs and oriented towards the tree-lined central courtyard, which invites vegetation to enter the heart of the building. The metallic mesh used in these curtains allows for efficient filtering of sunlight, creating a cool and comfortable atmosphere inside the house. In addition, its design allows for maintaining the privacy of the outdoor spaces, protecting from prying eyes without completely blocking the view to the outside.
