The AP apartment based in Milan downtowm was completely renovated in 2010. The property's requests aimed to modify the plan to have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large open space living room with kitchen and a broom closet. Originally, the apartment was composed of a small living room, a small kitchen, two bedrooms and only one bathroom without any broom closet. Therefore the distribution of the rooms has been completely redesigned to suit customer's needs by proposing a balanced mix between contemporary and classic style furniture. Even the walls, as large white palettes, were designed to be backgrounds for the colorful fresco paintings. The style line basically runs on the neutral colors of the utilised natural materials, such as the oak parquet flooring with large planks or the bathrooms stones made of travertine marble and the kitchen splashback, although light touches intervals rising both from reflection of the steel hood and mirror legs of the dining table and and on the horizontal geometries realized on furniture. On one side, the full-height furnitures of the entrance area and the bookcase have been designed to widen the space by disappearing into the niches of the walls; on the other side, these furniture are perceived and showed thanks to the horizontal lines decoration both on an matt surface and a bright one as in the kitchen.
