The house is situated in a serene setting surrounded by tea fields.
To blend in with the tea plantation landscape, the wooden structure of the house features a low-eaves design and a gabled roof. Cedar boards have been used for clapboarding the exterior walls, which have been painted black to establish a visual connection between the lush green tea fields and the house, adding to the overall charm of the surroundings.
Deep-eaved terraces have been added to all the rooms on the southern side and to the LDK on the south and east sides, seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior environments. This design feature creates a welcoming flow throughout the house, allowing residents to enjoy the generous flow of time in a tranquil atmosphere.
