The building site is situated on the edge of a slope in the centre of a small village in the Vysočina Region.
The house with a barn were built on the ground plan of a former farmhouse.
The house is covered by a veranda along the south-western façade, entering the centre of the ground plan with a view of the pond.
The living space with the kitchen is partially open to the roof. There is a fireplace and sections of the landscape enter the room through large, undivided windows.
On the left side of the ground floor there is a master bedroom. The staircase at the centre of the house connects the ground floor with the gallery in the attic where are located two more bedrooms and a bathroom.
The tailor-made interior was made by relative of the owner. It is in white, larch and oak wood. Visual peace does not compete with the landscape.
The utility rooms are located in the basement. The house is heated by a pellet boiler. There is a brick vaulted cellar connected to the basement, designed by the builder.
The barn is used for parking and storage.
The house was built by a local bricklayer according to simple documentation. Ceramic masonry without insulation, wooden ceiling, larch windows and hand-drawn stucco.
The owner lives and works in the house.
