Huai’an Zhongshuge

X+Living as Architects

In the bustling market of the city, a gigantic celestial apparatus descended from the sky, as if a magical sensation from another dimension invaded the mundane daily life and seeped into the almost identical urban landscape. The completion of Huai'an Zhongshuge is like tearing open a spacetime rift in the midst of the vibrant city reality.

The designer breaks the repetition and monotony of reinforced concrete, using exaggerated three-dimensional structures to reshape intricate celestial instruments, creating astronomical wonders of intertwined star rings within limited indoor spaces. It is like astronomical instruments slowly rising from the sea of stars, releasing marvelous gravity, with swirling light strips casting ethereal shadows. The black wood grain bookshelf walls, together with the delicate texture of marble, outline an infinite space, where irregular structures are scattered, seemingly following the laws of celestial motion, forming precise and massive mechanical components.

Entering the room, it feels as if a man has been shrunk, strolling through the interior of the instruments. Scattered throughout are tiny pages, each one hiding a vast world. In this space, a man catches a glimpse of the mysteries of the universe. It's like a wormhole in a dream, leading to the galaxy of thoughts, constructing a grand and boundless cosmic fantasy.

Space architecture is like a tangible extension of dreams, or a spiritual manifestation suspended in the urban sky. In the vast expanse of the universe, individual concerns are as insignificant as dust. Perhaps it is within the pages of a book that one can truly enter the realm of their inner universe.

"’The city is a product of desires, and the essence of architecture is to create dreams.’ In the fast-paced modern society, many people have lost the ability to dream and have become bored, dull, hopeless, and helpless. People need some time and space to detach themselves from reality, reflect on themselves, and fall into dreams. Briefly escaping from reality is a genuine way to rediscover oneself."
