What was the brief?
This design brief was so refreshing, the scheme encompasses the ideals around bringing the outside inside and creating a space that inspires people and has the ability to constantly change in its appearance.
“And Breathe” was a quote that was presented at the first meeting with the Impact office team, a goal if you like, the feeling when coming into an Impact Working Space, a user should be able to have a sense of relaxation and tranquility, something that one would find when in nature. This meaning the design needed to spark the same sub-conscious emotions and sensations one would have when in nature.
Bringing natural elements that respond to the shapes and patterns that are found in nature was a key factor when choosing the finishes for the space. Not only their resemblance to nature but their environmental credentials.
Something that we loved about the ideas when brainstorming this space was the willingness of Impact Working to embrace the idea of supporting local artists and getting the creative talent in and around Bristol exhibiting art and ideas within the Impact office space.
